100 ways of sharing challenge

Below are the simple ways, things and activities you can do to take part in the #SharingChallenge

  • Volunteer - Think of a cause you care about or a group in your community that could use some help. Volunteering results in some serious health benefits too
  • Research ways to be kind to the environment and reduce your carbon footprint
  • Spend 10 minutes picking up litter in your neighborhood, park or other commonly visited locations
  • Five-Minute Journal - Increase your well-being by more than 10%
  • Complement the first five people you talk too
  • Soul - take time each day find a moment in all the chaos, and just breathe
  • Heart - be thankful for the love in your life, give out more than you get
  • Body - stretch, reach, extend, MOVE, be mindful about what you choose as fuel
  • Mind - Learn something new, change your point of view, think with care.
  • Cook a nice meal for your best friend
  • Reach out to someone who has had a big influence or motivation on your life.
  • Bring in sweet homemade treats or dishes for co-workers Clean the house for a roommate or significant other
  • Give a server or house help a big generous  tip
  • Handwrite thank-you cards and send them to the five people closest to you Send flowers to your parents
  • Happy Hours - Invite a group of people you know (friends, family, coworkers) to the happiest of happy hours and spend one hour doing acts of kindness for others
  • Positive Sticky note - Carry a stack of positive sticky notes with you wherever you go, post them when you’re somewhere that needs a little bit more kindness
  • Sharing Challenge Box - Throughout the year, fill up a box with compliments you receive, thank-you notes, moments of kindness you witnessed, RAK’s you did, gifts, inspiring quotes, etc. Then after the year is over, review the contents!
  • Cook meal for family or friends
  • Cover for a co-worker so that they can leave work early
  • Before you get out bed, focus on kindness. Think of a kind motto for your day or text a positive good morning note to a friend.
  • Everyday, think of a random person. Send them a positive message via text, email, social media post, phone call, letter, etc.
